Nice walk trail with a small beach for kids to play. Nice place to kayak or paddle as well . There were lifeguards to monitor the place. But if you don't know how to swim I won't suggest getting into this beach as it's quite deep. Would like to thank the lifeguards here 1000 times. They plunged at right moment and are very vigilant.

A beautiful nature reserve with a large lake where you can swim (in the summer, when supervised), kayak, or walk along the bushwalking trails. This is the perfect place to "escape" from the noise of the city and enjoy the fresh air.

Lake Parramatta Walk is such a beautiful spot! I did the Level 3 track — it’s an easy walk with some lovely scenic views along the way. The path is well marked and not too challenging, making it perfect for a relaxed weekend walk. A great place to enjoy nature without having to travel too far. Definitely worth visiting if you’re after a peaceful and scenic walk!

My favourite new place is Parramatta Lakes 💚 Lake Parramatta reservoir was build in 1856 and it's the first large dam in Australia. I took the Lake circuit Grade 3 walk, long 4,2 km and it takes about two hours to finish, normal pace walk. Lake Parramatta is located in Parramatta Park which is situated on the boundary between Hornsby Plateau, a formation of sandstone and the Cumberland Lowlands with morphology of shale lithology. Lake Parramatta Reserve is a designated Wildlife Refuge under the National Parks and Wildlife Act and provides habitat for various native flora and fauna, specialy birdlife. Fairy wrath was one of them and I was so lucky to spot one male specimen capturing me with his wonderful song. It's a mating season for the Maluridae family 🎵 ❤️
