This indoor sport facility has exceptional quality flooring, great for so many sports. The space is clean, large, bright and airy and the complex is professionally run with friendly staff (good and efficient COVID-19 protocols). Street parking around the facility is good also.

Best synthetic pitch by far. I train here for soccer and play on Sundays. The indoor futsal comp on Wednesdays through summer is a lot of fun too and great facilities.

If you’re wondering whether to play futsal here. Don’t. Our teams experience of the 7-a-side futsal tournament was shambolic, homophobic, and unsafe. Here’s what we experienced: - a homophobic incident by a player to our teammate. The referee was within earshot, the comp did not acknowledge the incident, did not take it seriously, did not follow their own comp rules following “obscene language” re: sexuality, and did not take action. They have pride flags up all around the centre, but know that if you are queer this Council organised comp is not safe for you. - several incidents, including two reported, where our teammates were injured following very obvious, illegal and aggressive tackles. Again, ref saw and did nothing. The comp organisers didn’t take it seriously but instead weaponised our distress towards the situation. - finally, grand final week. We were told TWO hours before our last game that we were really excited for, that our timeslot had to change for another finals game. TWO HOURS. Our game moved from 7:10 to 7:50. Fine. Then they called up and said no, 6:30. Our teammates cannot make it at this point. And then back to 7:10, and we could not end up playing. It’s frankly embarrassing - you have one job which is to organise the timings properly and give people adequate notice. We followed up with the comp to ask if they would be finding another ref and taking our several safety complaints on board. They refuse to answer whether they’ll be finding another ref safer and more switched on ref this season. No matter. We won’t be joining this comp again because it’s not worth the physical and psychological unsafety for our teammates.

I was physically assaulted and put on the receiving end of homophobic slander while playing in a competition at this venue. Staff members (Kul, Markus, and Jack), as well as the refereee, failed to do anythiny about this. Please be careful playing in any competition run here, players are allowed to slide tackle, push, kick, and shove, without any consequences. I expect way better from the city of sydney council.
