The Coffee Emporium Cessnock

I’ve had coffee from here before and really enjoyed it, especially the iced latte I had a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, my visit today was very different. The iced latte tasted stale and unpleasant, almost as if the coffee shots weren’t fresh. I was surprised because my previous coffee was excellent.

I was $.60 short for my order and the staff were accommodating. The service was quick (take away) The place was clean and I would definitely be considering returning to try other things from the menu.

3 dishes ordered all, were requested poached eggs, the technique used was poached, but they were served dried, I will not send back food, if you are happy to serve it, your happy for it to be reviewed.. expensive over $120 for 3 dishes and 3 drinks, menu has changed dramatically, servings smaller, prices hiked!, Learnt my lesson and will not be back

Clean, quick, fresh food cooked in line with request (hard eggs), tasty! No complaints re Breaky Burger or poached eggs on toast. I'd go again.

Only ordered coffees, so can't critique on the food here. However, coffee came out at a good pace and they're very generous with their servings. Tastes good no faults that I could complain of. Workers are friendly, atmosphere is nice.
