4 Of us have breakfast there on Sunday morning -long weekend. We usually stop there for breakfast ,this time was big mistake. First looking like many was smaller and new. We order food and coffee-capuchino which is delivered on table more on plates than in caps...we need paper towel to clean. Than is came something like eggs coked on dirty grill or ???Eggs wasn't burned -more black off not clean properly grill. When i was asking why is like that and receiving answer like sorry ,ok.. We was like first guest that morning and on somebody must clean grill with eggs ,that was like our mistake. Verry disappointed and we are never go back .I hope same stuff will read this and remember my comment when i was living caffe.
Took a while for staff to just acknowledge me. All i wanted was a coffee. Waited ages and ages for it and i wouldnt say it was super busy the staff looked miserable.. i stood at the counter watching the chefs scratch his head pick his eye then arrange ready to eat food with no gloves on. I Also saw your coffee staff rub her nose and face without washing her hands then continue to make coffee in a coffee station that was the filthiest iv ever seen in my 32yrs of hoslitality. I also noticed your food safety supervisors cert in the wall. I can see they wernt practising what they were taught or teaching other staff how to prepare food hygeinically. I think all of your staff need a lesson in food hygein.. or get your food safety supervisor to teach the staff how food hygein is practised before someone reports you to the department.. i agree with the other comments about the tables outside full of plates and birds eating stuff off them. And all the dirty plates stacked up in your food prep and cooking area... dont you have a scrap bin and a sink... they need to be out if sight..just all round a dirty looking kitchen and pretty poor food hygein being practised... do better
Beautiful and yummy Mothers Day Brunch at Lime Leaf today. Lovely welcome by the gorgeous staff 10/10, on this crazy busy day out the valley. Luckily we reserved a table. Lime Leaf was busier than we have ever seen it. Thankyou to the fabulous friendly and well organised staff for a yummy fresh and tastey brunch. Smashed avo on toast with perfectly poached egg and lovely smokey bacon on the side. 10/10 hot, frothy and delicious cap 10/10. This girl knows how to make coffee. Your team did so very well to make this mum feel welcome on Mothers Day and made my day extra special.💕💕
Great little cafe. Nice fresh food, nice atmosphere, lovely staff. Great. A lovely easy lunch with well prepared and served food. Smashed Avocado with eggs - sourdough seemed a little more like bread but no big deal. Pesto Pumpkin and pine nut quiche with salad - great.
We went in because it looked fairly empty and we just needed a quick bite. We ordered four drinks (a hot chocolate, an iced coffee and two smoothies) and an entree (salt and pepper squid) for $70 which is an incredibly outrageous price for the portion size and service. You could argue that Hunter Valley warrants for a mark-up as it is a weekend getaway location and we went on a Saturday, but this did not feel justified. We waited for 30 minutes for our entire order - if we didn’t follow up, we definitely would never have received it. The only positive thing about this place is that the staff were super friendly. Please reconsider how you work as this is a high foot traffic area that you could very much capitalise on.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
