What people say
Great little cafe. Nice fresh food, nice atmosphere, lovely staff. Great. A lovely easy lunch with well prepared and served food. Smashed Avocado with eggs - sourdough seemed a little more like bread but no big deal. Pesto Pumpkin and pine nut quiche with salad - great.
We went in because it looked fairly empty and we just needed a quick bite. We ordered four drinks (a hot chocolate, an iced coffee and two smoothies) and an entree (salt and pepper squid) for $70 which is an incredibly outrageous price for the portion size and service. You could argue that Hunter Valley warrants for a mark-up as it is a weekend getaway location and we went on a Saturday, but this did not feel justified. We waited for 30 minutes for our entire order - if we didn’t follow up, we definitely would never have received it. The only positive thing about this place is that the staff were super friendly. Please reconsider how you work as this is a high foot traffic area that you could very much capitalise on.
We ordered the Quiche (pesto and pumpkin) with salad, bacon & egg roll and iced latte. Very delicious and not too filling. A great stopover after your trip around Hunter Valley Gardens and its surrounding areas.
If you’re after exceptional coffee, delicious food made with fresh produce from Hunter Valley Farms, and a beautifully curated atmosphere, this is the place for you. The space features stunning art pieces from local artists, perfect to admire or even purchase. The staff make you feel like family, they will make sure your belly is full and your experience is enjoyable, whether you choose to dine indoors or outside. Highly recommend!
Got a coffee with my fiance on the 21st of December, were blown away by the blend. Came back for lunch, their chicken schnitzel gourmet sandwich, toasted of course! It was delicious, you can tell the food is fresh produce locally sourced from the Hunter Valley. The art decor is beautiful and unique, it really adds to the atmosphere and the quirkiness! Update: Had the scones and avocado on sourdough toast the next morning, unbelievable!
