Sawmillers Reserve is a beautiful, quiet waterfront park at McMahons Point, an absolute find right by the harbour. In keeping with North Sydney's parks, dogs are welcome off-leash, kept on-leash in bushland and off playing fields during organised sport. There is BBQ facilities and water on hand, though no toilets. A peaceful off-leash park on the water.

Dog rules

North Sydney is a dog-friendly area and all Council parks and public reserves are off-leash areas, except for bushland areas, playing fields when organised sporting events are in progress, and venues where dogs are not allowed. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. (Source: North Sydney Council — northsydney.nsw.gov.au)

What a find! Such a piece of water sanctuary, yet still central to the vibe of Sydney Harbour ✨️

A light walk from my place going here. It is so refreshing as it is near a body of water. Nice to bring a book next time just to relax and be with nature. 🥰♥️

Sawmillers park has a fabulous view 😍 it is my favourite spot in the area for a good relaxation🏞 A bit quiet over the week but crowdy on weekends! The park is good and safe for families and kids. Meeting the lovely neighbours and chatting with them is my best part 😃
