Terrace Hotel is a dog-friendly pub in North Sydney, where dogs are welcome in the outdoor area. Around 1100 metres away, Hayes Street Beach is also a great nearby beach for a swim with your dog.
I've never eaten there only drank so I can't rate the food, atmosphere is what you make it..there's always friendly people there, relaxing with background music, there's a balcony for smokers which is heated with ceiling heaters for winter... staff are very helpful and friendly... great selection of alcohol... my party of friends normally bring guitars and jam on the balcony which the staff are happy to accommodate us...
A nice little pub for a chat, meal or play. Service was good. Meals were nice. Thank you for lunch. 🙂
Menu prices need to be updated on their website. I ordered the Schnitzel Mexicana, which according to their website should have been $21, but when I got there I saw their updated physical menu and I paid $24, a 14% increase probably due to inflation. No problem with that, but please update the menu you have online.
For those working in the area, the new menu and friendly bar service can't be overlooked by those keen for a cheeky lunch. Great selection of beers for both ale and lager lovers.
Good food but way too loud and noisy. Had to message the person I'm here with. Music superloud so people are yelling. All hard surfaced so makes it worse. The staff were not great but probably under stress. Might be an idea to allow the staff to hear what is being ordered.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
