What people say
Really nice place, quiet, shady, cool features like the wetland, skatepark and viaduct, and nice streets surrounding.
A sliver of parkland enhanced by industrious locals. Where else can your kids play on decent playground equipment while your teens enjoy the mini skatepark before everyone picks a small helping of the free grapes or mulberries from the community garden? Where else can you see native turtles in a wetland that captures, recycles and calms local runoff? Where else can you have your pants scared off by watching a Tarantula Hawk Wasp chase down and kill a Huntsman spider like we did this week? Well if you hang out in this park as much as we do with your eyes open, you'll see amazing things too!
Didn't know this place even existed! Such a wonderful quiet spot in the Inner West area where one man made such a difference. Great for kids to explore the ponds for frogs, fish and dragonflies. We spent about 20min here but could've spent longer.
What an amazing find. 3 years driving up and down Booth street i would have never imagine such a piece of forgotten Sydney was off it. Part curated, part wild with a Creek running through it a mini_skate circuit an old stable turned in to community centre with community veggie gardens. Countryside bang in the middle of Innerwest Sydney.
