Dog rules
Inner West Council's "Dog exercise areas" page states: "By law, dogs must be on a leash in public places unless the area is a designated off-leash area." Inner West Council publishes a list of gazetted off-leash areas; this venue is not on that list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. Great little park with a low fence all around. Fun equipment for smaller kids and a good range of swings, plus a big climbing pyramid. No toilets or bbqs.
The great little park in Sydney with some lovely bushes and a decent playground for the kids. Generously sized park within the center of the town with a basketball court docket, bowling club, youngsters' play place and lawns with masses of huge timber.
Excellent park for kids between 0+ to 5/6. My kids are 2 and 3 - they both love it! Lots of playground equipment for them to enjoy! It can get very busy at weekends and after school. Great cafe adjacent for parents to pick up a coffee and a bite to eat.
My local park. DO NOT come to play here with little ones when school gets out. The primary school kids across the road absolutely flood the park and your little one will be over run. Would be great to see the council use the War Memorial on ANZAC Day and even better if they looked after the unknown soliders grave too.
