What a lovely cafe. I was headed to another cafe on the other side of the station, but this one caught my eye. The waitstaff are the sweetest. The lady who took my order was so sweet. She probably thought I was having my drink to-go, but when she offered me water when she realised I wanted to stay. The outdoor seating is lovely on a good a day. The only reason I took one star off is because they don’t serve food after 11am or something, which I found really bizarre… I personally wasn’t after food, but it was quite awkward for the staff who had to explain this to other guests who wanted food. I hope the owner takes this on board.
Great little cafe spot on Hercules street Sparkling water is free! Very generous Good quality matcha in the hot matcha oat latte Bacon and egg roll came as a burger, great flavour profile, sweet brioche bun and a bit of tang from the tomato sauce, perfectly cooked sunny side egg Pickle power pastrami was also delicious, on turkish bread, more on the sour side but with cheese for a smooth texture Great service and great attention to detail Only outdoor seating, a few tables, but thats covered by umbrella so its nice on a warm sunny day Will be a go-to breakfast/brunch spot if im in Ashfield! Cheers
Found this little gem in Ashfield. Their coffee and hot chocolate is so good. The bacon and egg roll was delicious. The portion sizes were very generous. Staff were very friendly and always helpful. Lots of options to choose from. Worth a visit and try. Lucky to have a spot like that in Ashfield.
New cafe in Hercules Street with outside seating. Lots of coffee tea to choose from and now have some good meal options. They have a unique system for drip coffee on tap at the counter. My oat mocha coffee was very good and the the cup/saucer and spoon were very stylish. The service was also super friendly and attentive.
Was on my regular commute to university passing this cafe when I thought, “yknow what, I’m feeling a little peckish”. I got the chicken Caesar wrap and strawberry matcha $10 deal. The matcha is chillingly refreshing for a hot day out and the wrap was a tasty morning treat to start my day. The staff were especially kind and inviting. Safe to say, I’m glad I gave Hercules Cafe a try. Shoutout to Amy!
