Extremely friendly community atmosphere. Food was really good - absolutely loved the Syrian falafel wrap with the perfect amount of spice and pickles on the side. Highly recommend. Worth a little drive to drop by! lots of outdoor seating and kid friendly.
What a hidden gem! I can’t believe I hadn’t heard no idea about this place before. The menu is great and the staff are lovely. The coffee was perfect!
I've been going to 3 tomatoes for a while now, and realised I haven't written a review, so... here I am. This is a family business that has been going for a while, and it shows. They've perfected their craft with all the right touches, and this little gem of a cafe is one of my favourite spots for either my usual brew or for a bite to eat. Worthy of special mention: THE SERVICE. Tony and his family are friendly and provide the most authentic service ever. They're the loveliest people where. THE COFFEE. We are coffee snobs and fussy about the way we like our cuppas... And they not only have continued to get it right... They have. We love our coffee here. THE FOOD. OH, the food... Authentic, delicious, and there's usually something interesting in the specials that when we try it, it blows our minds. I'm attaching a photo of today's special - 3 cheese (tilsit, parmesan and shanklish) potato bake with pickled chillies and a delicious mesclun salad. Oh my, it was delicious!! BOTTOM LINE. I'm selfishly hoping no one reads a review THIS long so that we keep finding a table when we regularly go!!
I had a very nice experience at 3 Tomatoes. The lady running the shop was lovely and the coffee was really good. The bacon & egg roll and hash browns were also really good, but the brisket burger was quite dry. I would definitely return again.
Are you craving a delicious slow cooked tangy lamb shank or a boutique sandwich? Then this is the place for you! A fantastic cafe in Ashbury where you can sample unique Mediterranean inspired food. Double thumbs up from me!!
