Plunge 46 is a cafe in Summer Hill with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 550m away, Lewisham West dog off-leash area is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Plunge 46 was a chance find and a good one! There were so many tasty sounding options on the menu that it was hard to choose. I eventually decided to order the grilled chicken yeeros ($18.50). It was good, filled with fresh ingredients, and a generous portion. My friend opted for the prawn poke bowl. They mentioned it was delicious. The meal looked amazing and very well presented. It was also a generous portion. Service was great too. It was efficient, very warm, welcoming and courteous. Staff appeared happy to be working there and seeing customer enjoying their food. Another thing I liked about the cafe was its layout. There was a good choice of seating available, including streetside, indoors and an outdoor courtyard. The tables were well spaced out in each area as well.
I have been going to plunge for years and have never had a bad meal. The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. They helped me reserve a specific table when I went with my Dad because he has mobility issues. I take so many people here because I know how good the standard is. It may not be the fanciest venue in Summer Hill but it makes up for it by always being consistantly good. Recommend!
This is a nice looking cafe on the main strip that is a great place to chill. The latte I got had good flavours and a decent froth. The souvlaki plate had nice chips and thin pillowy pita, but the lamb skewers were a bit overcooked and under-seasoned. There were also many fragments of olive pips through the Greek salad that made me second guess my every bite.
I had a great breakfast at this café. I tried the hotcakes, the chicken wrap, and the weekly special — everything was delicious, with generous portions and well-balanced flavours. The atmosphere was cozy and service friendly. The only downside was the hot drink; it tasted like the wrong type of milk was used, which threw off the flavour a bit. Still, I’d definitely come back for the food. Highly recommended!
Fantastic well priced food and some of the best coffee in Sydney. The place has such a friendly vibe and the staff are so engaging within the community. One of the nicest places to have a little time out on a day off or on a late start. Especially out in the court yard.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
