Lewisham West is a fenced, council-designated off-leash dog area in Lewisham with parking, a walking path and dog-waste bags. Dogs are allowed off-leash within the fenced area under effective control. Please note the dog park is closed until April 2026, so it is worth checking before you visit. A handy fenced spot for an off-leash run once reopened.

Great dog park, smaller area for smaller dogs (I assume). There is no water (something to do with inability to plumb it yet) so you need to bring your own.

Is there water/ where’s the water? I asked several people & no one had seen a dog fountain. Excellent park & already well patronised but no water REALLY. Also no dog poop bag dispensers. Not great planning for a dog park.
