This is my go to when in Sydney. Food is amazing, lovely low key courtyard and the staff are angelic!
Wow fantastic place , just had a Philly Cheese sandwich, amazing and awesome coffee / Juice. Very very good.
Great places to work with a laptop (thank you for having wifi 🙏), or to bring the family, there is a little bucket of kids toys and a beautiful back yard. Excellent, swift, obliging service. Cool/quirky Goblin artwork 🖼️ Thanks Goblins 🙂
There were some hits and misses during our visit to Goblin Kitchen and Bar, but overall, we liked our time there. I ordered the hotcakes. They were an absolute standout! They were very generous in size and perfectly cooked through. They were very light and fluffy. Usually, whenever I've had hotcakes at other cafes, I've been given one, but here, the serving size was two. The biscoff crumb provided a subtle crunchy element to the dish, while the tang of the green apple and berries nicely offset the sweetness of the caramel sauce. Other items on the menu sounded good, too. There is also no Saturday surcharge. One of the misses was that my friend didn't feel the cafe catered well to different dietary requirements. When asked if items could be modified to suit, staff seemed a little confused. Service was also quite slow. The furniture and decor are a bit old.
Beautiful food - I had menu regret because I wanted it all! Everything was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. Good service - quick and efficient. When there was a mix up, it was sorted out promptly and I wasn't ignored. Good vibe - Interesting Goblin theme which is more evident in the little garden out the back. Comfy booth seating. We really enjoyed our breakfast here.
