Offers a surreal and peaceful experience. Great sights and views looking over the water. You can observe beautiful marine plant life here and read about it on the signage and information plates. Parking is available in the park and across the street if not enough. Sanctity is well maintained.

Great park to walk your dog off the leash. Otherwise there are plenty of relaxing areas to watch the boats pass by or rowers.

Rodd Park is a hidden gem by the water—a peaceful, beautifully kept haven perfect for families, walkers, and anyone needing a quiet breath of fresh air. The wide open lawns invite picnics and play, while the shady trees and gentle harbour breeze make it feel miles away from the city rush. The views over Iron Cove are simply stunning, especially at sunset when the sky blushes gold and pink. There’s a playground for kids, clean facilities, and plenty of space to just sit and soak in the calm. Rodd Park isn’t just a park—it’s a little slice of serenity right in the heart of Sydney.

Quiet little area of Parramatta River. The high point of the park is an easy, fairly level walk less than 5 mins from car park. Same for fishing areas. Great to take people with mobility issues.

A great spot to while away a few hours. You can claim er over the rocks, have a break on the bay walk or launch a kayak easily off the beach. There is a company that will deliver a kayak here for you. The facilities are a bit old, but that is part of the charm. You can also search out the old Rodd family crypt.
