Myself, my wife and some mates turn up to watch the Golf & the cricket the whole screen was split into two screens both UFC, my wife and attempted to play keno and the young lady didn’t know what she was doing I always play $5 a game and 10 games at a time, the young lady played it for 3 games and gave my wife $35 change when my wife explained that I wanted to play 10 games she replayed it so I’m now playing same numbers in 2 tickets and the manager couldn’t assist at all so I then have to hand over more money due to incompetent bar staff my wife plays keno aswell $10 a game 6 numbers and once again the young lady didn’t know what she had done and my wife had to wait for her to get the manager in this time my wife missed 4 numbers which would be a $50 win and she missed out on getting that money due to incompetence or lack of training which once again costs us more money. We come to this pub 4-5 times a week as this is our local and we are normally the only people in this establishment they wouldn’t put either the cricket or the golf on I looked around and 1 person other than us were actually paying for for drinks lots of free coke and water were being handed but they had the hole screen and we the paying customers couldn’t watch the the Australian Open Golf and the Ashes due to the who screen for UFC for the none paying customers. If I could get a reply that would be fantastic Regards David

Compliments to the Chef/Cook Joshua, at Illinois Hotel Five Dock. While staying in the area for the weekend, we were lucky to enjoy THE best cooked steak ever! Cooked to perfection. Soo much flavour! An awesome menu to pick from also. Pitty we live 2.5hrs away or this would be our 'go to' for an amazing meal every time! This place has a lot of potential. The renovation is very well done and it is comfortable. Unfortunately when there I had to go through the entire venue to find a staff member. Then when I ordered a beer she had to go get it from the other bar. It was flat and didn’t taste right. Please fix the little things.

Our family of four (including two children under 18) arrived on New Year’s Eve, only to be shocked by what we found. The rooms were small, dark, and located directly above a noisy bar — nothing like what was advertised. Worst of all, the “shared bathroom” was outside the room and shared with every guest on the floor. This is blatant wordplay and completely misleading. When we raised our concerns, the property staff refused to accept responsibility or offer full refund. Their attitude was dismissive and unethical, leaving us stranded on New Year’s Eve to find another hotel at the last minute. This property operates on deception and has no sense of honesty or customer care. Avoid at all costs — do not fall for their false advertising.

Stopped over for the night to catch a flight in the morning. Not far from the airport. Easy check in although handing over the bank card to head into another room makes ya feel a bit uneasy. The rooms perfect for our little family of 4. Shared bathrooms are clean and easy to use. Friendly staff and tasty meals downstairs. Good selection of drinks
