Grew up on Bellevue Rd. This was my playground as a kid, and I'm so glad that the rock carvings have not been destroyed over the years. These carvings are so important to the hostory of the area. There are also some footprints in the rocks behond the houses on Bellevue Rd that back onto Ticehurst Park, but i see no-one has found them yet, or at least photographed them. If you want to find them....good hunting.

Ticehurst park is a special place as it has three large rock carvings by First Nation people. These carvings of emus are in different places on the rocks, and there are also grinding hollows and hand ground water pools. During the day you may have to look carefully but at night with a torch, the engraved rock art is very obvious. Take care not to damage the rocks - don't walk on the art and definitely do not bring bicycles or motorbikes here, it's not permitted.
