This is a fantastic old hotel in the Blue Mountains about 100km west of Sydney. Fantastic history in this hotel. Food was a bit pricey.... but the hotel is like a museum. Well worth a couple of days stay. A short drive to Katoomba for great views of Mt Solitaire and surrounds. Do your self a favour a visit this excellent old hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Say hi 👋 to the beautiful Lona. Very helpful and great at her job. All staff were great. I'm going back for sure. 👍🇦🇺🥂🏍
A beautiful old world guesthouse. Fabulous place to stop for a meal as you travel over the mountains. The Aussie pies were delicious. Sit in the sunny atrium out the back through the Dining Room and you might be lucky enough to see rosellas and parrots - we were!
Each time we've been here the food has been delicious and prepared with attention to detail. Lovely atmosphere. Comfortable and welcoming. A little gem tucked away in Mt Victoria. Perfect for post movie lunch or dinner.
Dropped by for dinner on a Sunday night. The service was excellent, the staff very attentive to our needs. It seems that on Sunday evenings, they have been trialling a roast (instead of offering the full a la carte menu), and it was delicious. The vegetables were some of the best I've tasted, and the chicken was moist & tender. Dessert was just as memorable, the chilli chocolate cake was just the right balance. Thanks for looking after us tonight.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
