What people say
Great playground for younger kids - my 2 and 4 year olds loved it. Lots of shade and plenty of places to sit. The splash pad water was turned off when we visited, but we were told it would be on from the October long weekend so we’ll have to go back for another visit. The lake is lovely and there’s a nice little walking track around it. My kids loved feeding peas and corn to the ducks, but watch out for the over-confident goose! There’s a big car park, but I imagine it would fill up on busy days.
pretty lake with geese and ducks. Some children's playground, and toilets. parkrun is held here every Saturday at 8am, 5km loop of walk, run or jog. Also a cricket pitch and close to an athletic traxk
A great place to take your family along for a picnic and wonder around the lake filled with wildlife which makes for great photo opportunities, location also has picnic tables, playground for the kids and gym if you still need exercise after walking around the lake, parking is not an issue and has toilet facilities on site.
Great local fishing spot i caught some monster carp here also the fight is outstanding The bass and mullet are big too Highly recommended to fish here
Visited Werrington Reserve Park today 🌳 and was captivated by its scenic beauty—charming lake, graceful swans, and adorable ducks created a serene atmosphere. However, it's important to note the presence of iguanas 🦎. While their uniqueness adds to the experience, if you're visiting with children, exercise caution. Overall, a delightful place to connect with nature. 🍁
