Warrabah National Park is a park where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
Great picnic and camping spots dotted along the river. Plenty of drop toilets and fire pits. Great place to cool off in the water Take it easy on the roads
Great selection of campsites, lots of toilets easily accessible, and beautiful scenery teaming with wildlife... A great place to camp !
Very beautiful and peaceful national park. There are 2 major campsites and 1 walking trail available. The walking trail is called Fishermans Walking Track, which is an around 4.5 KM return trail from the car park. The map on the visitor information board will tell you that you can do a loop at the end, however the track in that section is unmarked and poorly maintained. So I recommend taking a right at the crossing, which will take you to the riverside. 4wd recommended beyond Warrabab Campground, however a high clearance 2wd should be fine in dry season.
Beautiful place! We used a Mazda 3 to get here however I'd suggest a car better suited for a dirt road as the last 30 minutes of the journey was dirt, the river and surrounds are beautiful, great place to camp for a couple of nights or even just for a day trip to explore
Despite the extremely dry and hot conditions, we really enjoyed our trip here and had lots of fun walking along the rocks in the river. I can imagine it would be a great place to swim when the river is flowing.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
