Woodford Memorial Park, located in Woodford, New South Wales, serves as a community hub and recreational space, offering a mix of amenities and green areas. The park is well-maintained and easily accessible, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors. One of the key features of the park is its children's playground, which is equipped with various play structures designed to keep kids entertained and active. Adjacent to the playground are open grassy fields that are ideal for picnics, outdoor games, or simply lounging in the sun. For those interested in sports, the park features multiple courts and areas designated for activities like basketball and tennis. There's also a skate park, which draws a younger crowd keen on skateboarding, BMX riding, or scootering. The park offers several amenities to enhance your visit. There are benches scattered throughout, allowing for moments of rest and relaxation. Barbecue facilities are available for those wishing to cook, and restrooms are conveniently located on-site. Aesthetically, the park benefits from mature trees that provide ample shade, creating a pleasant atmosphere, especially during hot summer days. Seasonal flowers and well-kept garden areas add to the overall charm. However, the park can get crowded during weekends and holidays, so if you're seeking a quieter experience, visiting during off-peak hours may be advisable. Overall, Woodford Memorial Park serves as a versatile space that caters to a range of interests and age groups, making it a great spot for family outings, sports, and leisure activities.

The best park in Woodford that's on the highway.

Small historic park in the centre of Woodford Village. A bit of noise from the Highway but some interesting history and nice landscaping. It's an important connection between the village shops and Wilsons Glen, across the pedestrian bridge to the south.
