Woodford Reserve is a park in Woodford. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.
Dog rules
–Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, section 13(1): "A dog (other than a dog being exhibited at a show or being trialled or trained for showing) that is in a public place must be under the effective control of some competent person by means of an adequate chain, cord or leash that is attached to the dog and that is being held by (or secured to) the person." Blue Mountains City Council publishes a list of 14 designated off-leash dog areas in the Blue Mountains; this venue is not on that list, so the NSW Act's leash requirement applies. Perfect spot for pooches and families. Bush tracks and open areas (sadly not maintained well by council...most upkeep is done by altruistic local residents), a tennis court, a kitchen facility/building for hire - perfect for kids' parties, etc. Playground equipment also on-site...

Much loved local park. Very peaceful and great spot for picnics and relaxing. Interesting link to the Woodford Academy and it's heritage. There's also a tennis court, basketball hoop and playground.
