I know this pub has to just has to cater for the local community but does every beer have to be Japanese owned? Not even Australian owned Coopers in a bottle? $14 for a glass of wine?
This is one of the worst pubs I have experienced in Australia. Most of the managers were extremely rude, with the exception of one manager, Mr Anil, who was professional and respectful. Unfortunately, there appears to be clear in among staff. From my observation, some staff members show preferential treatment to certain patrons, particularly those who give them money. Specifically, during the month of December, security guards on night duty appeared to accept money from patrons who were winning on the poker machines and supported them unfairly. The behaviour of the security staff was also very rude and unprofessional towards other customers. Additionally, staff members were not wearing name badges while on duty. This makes it difficult for customers to identify staff or lodge complaints regarding specific individuals. The staff and security team should understand that the pub operates because of its patrons, and basic courtesy and professionalism are essential. This kind of behaviour can seriously affect the pub’s reputation. I sincerely hope that senior management or the directors will look into this matter as soon as possible.
We’ll miss Alex and wish him all the best — his hospitality was genuinely second to none. The lovely young female bar staff is always so lovely also, blonde one whose name escapes me. Unfortunately, tonight showed a clear decline in judgment. After finishing work late and heading to our local at 8:45pm for dinner. After two drinks, we were that staff needed to “check” whether we could have another, while visibly intoxicated patrons stumbling around continued to be served. Seeing a man exiting stumble and fall as we arrived only highlighted the inconsistency. The service from one female staff member has been cold and unwelcoming consistently, shame she was there tonight. We won’t be back.
It might be a nice place to watch games and have a drink, but I absolutely do not recommend the food. To be fair, I only had it once but there's no chance of coming back.
