Dogs must be restrained while in a public place, except in the designated fenced off-leash areas: Endeavour Park (Lithgow), Montague St (Lithgow), Lake Wallace (Wallerawang), and Williwa St (Portland). Track is a little rough in spots but definitely doable in most 4x4 might be a bit of a problem for vehicle's with lower clearance especially towards the end of the track
Good 4wd track. Big rock step in the middle, do not attempt unless lifted and locked. Driving through the trail feels like Jurassic Park due to the bracken ferns on the ground and the beautiful sandstone rising up from the ground. Gorgeous place and very quiet. Some deep bog holes so try to avoid them.
