Genowlan Point is a dog-friendly park in Glen Alice.
Dog rules
Dogs must be restrained while in a public place, except in the designated fenced off-leash areas: Endeavour Park (Lithgow), Montague St (Lithgow), Lake Wallace (Wallerawang), and Williwa St (Portland). Pretty sure that can't drive through the very last bit. So close to the top just have to climb up from the rocky trail. Unfortunately too many flying insects around so I didn't climb up to the top. I made a time-lapse video on the way back and hopefully this can help understand what's expected and assess if your vehicle capable for this. Be aware that twigs will scratch your paint.
It was a really fun drive! Note that 4wd with low range is highly recommended as they're a lot of steep ascent and descent. We have one triton and one Prado and both made it to the top with ease. With a bit of a off track hiking you can find the tip of the mountain where we took pictures :) edit*: going back to the map in all trail I think we actually parked at the entry point of Valley of the Dinosaurs. This is different to genowlan point at the top.
Very cool place although not all 4x4 will make until the end unless you want to dent and rich your car we parked half way through and we hiking the rest of the way ps: we were on triton and amarok 4x4
