I had an interesting conversation with a staff member at this location, and I was shocked by a few things I learned about their operations. 1. Misleading Milk Practices: They never use skim milk, even though a bottle is always displayed to customers. Instead, they serve full cream milk without informing anyone. This is completely misleading for customers who think they’re ordering a different option. 2. Identical Coffee Froth: All milk-based coffees—cappuccinos, lattes, and flat whites—are steamed exactly the same way, producing identical froth. There’s no difference between them at all, which makes the drinks feel generic and low-quality. I was very disappointed by these practices. As a customer, I expect honesty and care in both ingredients and preparation, and this place fails on both counts. I would not recommend coming here.

Bohaus Matraville does the best breakfast roll I’ve ever eaten. Loads of crispy bacon and perfect slightly runny egg and delicious tomato relish. Perfect. Lovely cafe.

Like the place. Service is 5 🌟 no doubt. Enjoyed the experience. Local Cafe and we are all about getting behind local business. You should come and visit.

My new favourite cafe in matraville. Great food, kind and friendly service and excellent coffee 😍 Also the atmosphere is really relaxing. I always feel like I've de-stressed when I leave!

Took the kids to lunch there today. Marcella was lovely, great that she’s local too. I like the vibe, Portuguese Tarts were great, Mango smoothie was fresh, service was good. Will be coming back again. Good luck for their first Saturday. #supportlocal
