Came here for a birthday dinner with my dad, we had never been here before and honestly when we saw how quiet the bistro was, we were worried. But let me tell you, we should not have been. The food was incredible. I had the dry aged steak burger and Wow, just wow. It was honestly the best burger I have ever had. My dad had the steak and it was juicy, tender and full of flavour. It was a beautiful night

Havn't been to this pub for a good while but recently popped in again whilst visiting friends nearby. Glad we did! Looks like the kitchen has recently been taken over and has a great menu with all the classics but done really well! We had the burger and the steak as well as a burrata to share and all of the food was presented really well and was delicious. Really nice and airy dining room and they still have the pool table in the front bar. Highly recommend...will be back!

We just had the most delicious lunch at the Matraville Hotel! The new bistro is delicious, a big improvement from before. We work locally so ducked across for some lunch. We got the matto burger and steak - delicious! Great food and good vibes

Gigis was yummy. A Pop-up Italian eatery. Good venue, friendly people.

After a long day, it’s a relief to unwind in a cool setting with an icy cold beer. However, I was disappointed that this place only serves beer in schooners and not in pints. The food was decent but not exceptional—just typical pub quality. Despite these drawbacks, it’s still a good spot to relax after work or catch up with friends.
