Omggg !! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAXING !! CHRISSY!! Is an absolute gem an old classic with respect and kindness this place is beautiful!! Can’t wait to come back
Me and my husband are travelling through town and got the courtesy car which is free and Jana picked us up and dropped us back when we where ready. The food was amazing, one of the best meals we’ve had from a pub in a long time. We got the chef suggestions. Cooked beautifully. The staff were wonderful, the whole experience was fantastic. Well done everyone. Will be coming back through again
Staff were super friendly and the specials were great value. We had the chicken schnitzel with seasonal vegetables and the chicken was panko crumbed, thick but cooked perfectly and really juicy. Great place to stop for a good feed!
The chook parmi was delicious. It was actually chicken, coated in house! The mash was actually potato, mashed!!! The veggies were actually fresh and prepared for the meal (not defrosted 2 hours earlier and nuked for the meal). Do yourself a favour!
The Bidgee was recommended to us and it wasn't a disappointment. As we walked in a few locals outside and in the bar welcomed us like long time mates. Walking we were faced by a nice clean and neat pub and staff were all over us with answers to our questions and supplying ice cold beers, $9.30 for a schooner. We ordered a bidgee burger and a grilled salmon which came with a choice of 2 sides. As you can see in the photo the salmon meal was huge and the lemon garlic butter matched it perfectly. The hamburger was unbelievably good, it had everything a great Aussie burger should have apart from an egg and a slice of pineapple which thankfully weren't there because if they were one you'd need a knife and fork to eat it and secondly I couldn't have finished. I can honestly say that was the nicest burger Ive ever eaten that I didn't cook my self. If you're a Maccas or HJ aficionado do yourself a favour and drive to Narrandera and try a bidgee burger to know what a real burger should taste like without using numerous sauces to make it taste edible.
