The Blue Fox

The blue fox, Lithgow conveniently located along Main Street offering range of signature cocktails, beers, wines and spirits, along with an extensive menu with something on there for everybody. Along with daily specials. Large indoor and outdoor dining areas with historical industrials decor. Staff are friendly and helpful. However, I have been to the Bluefox multiple times and been let down with some of the high-end items such as the lamb and the pork. These items have been consistently overcooked along with flavours that are listed on the menu are lacking. Which I have been to the blue fox many times and always been faced with this issue which would be my only words of feedback constructively. Do recommend the sticky date, chorizo and cocktails. Clean on site amenities. On street parking out the front. Small car park across the road. Recommend date night or work event parties. Venue does cater to children, however limited menu for children.

absolutely perfect in all aspects!!! the decor and atmosphere is amazing, and the couple of waitresses we had were lovely! specifically our main waitress with the tattoo on the back of her leg - she was absolutely lovely (hopefully a specific enough description that whoever runs this place can give her some praise?) the food was amazing! i got the barramundi, and it came with a mango chutney sorta thing? i never thought id be eating mango with fish, but it was mind blowing! shout out to the genius in the kitchen :) we also got the sticky date pudding as a little treat and it was in.cred.i.ble!!! this was my first visit and i will be definitely coming back!

We had such a great time eating here for their lunch service that we came back again for dinner. The staff were very nice and the meals were delicious. We were starving at lunch so I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of our lunch meals, but we had the Honey Chicken Wings, which had a strong honey flavour and the wings were still crunchy. I’ve had variations of these elsewhere that were soggy, these weren’t. We also had their garlic prawns and the Burrata. Both were also delicious. The sourdough bread that came with both dishes was awesome. Soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. We’ll be back for sure.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stopped by Blue Fox Kitchen after our Valley of Dinosaurs walk, and what a fantastic choice! The welcoming vibe made us feel right at home. The blend of rich history with modern fittings gave the place a unique charm. The staff were genuinely amazing—friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food, refreshing drinks, and excellent coffee. The spacious seating was perfect for our group of friends, comfortably accommodating us all. A truly happy experience—highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy great company!

We loved our lunch at this little unassuming restaurant along Main Street in Lithgow. It’s the perfect stop for people traveling inland, or back to Sydney from the country. The food is exceptional, and didn’t only taste wonderful, but was also prepared and presented beautifully! On par with some of the best restaurants in Sydney! What I loved also, was that they served some Gooree Park wines, which are hard to come across in Sydney, but are my favorites! Thank you for carrying them! Staff were welcoming and the whole atmosphere is really homey and wonderful! They gave the kids stuff for coloring, a book to read, and even had a kids area with some puzzles! Will definitely come back and tell our friends and family about our new find! Must try dishes: Fries with garlic aioli Gnocchi with enoki Barramundi Salt & pepper squid Sticky date Crème brûlée (In photo, only barramundi, because the rest was inhaled before I got to them!)
