It's a great place to stop for a picnic or rest. It has plenty of parking and facilities including toilets and barbecues. The pine forest abuts the park, and after rain in the first quarter of the year, he has heaps of mushrooms. Unfortunately, when we were there, they were all red and poisonous. We did find some good ones and a woolies basket down the road in the forest.
