Mary O'Brien Reserve is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Zetland where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shaded space, BBQs, and toilets nearby, while Nam2 is around 400 metres away for an easy post-walk drink.
Dogs are welcome on-leash. Under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be on-leash in City of Sydney parks and public places, except in designated off-leash areas. Dogs are prohibited from playgrounds, sports courts and enclosed sports ovals.
Great park. Dogs allowed on leash. Nice grassed area. Good play areas. Two of them for different ages or groups. A water feature that is manually started. Several hot plates for BBQ. With tables and seats It's a very nice park. Great for kids or adult picnic parties.
Great park if your little ones like water play. 2 playgrounds for different ages and bbq facilities. The water play area is great but a bit slippery in areas. However, no nearby bathroom we could find.
A lovely quiet playground area with a small water play area too. Playground is undercover which is good to keep that steel slide cool. No swings unfortunately. Playground not as suitable for small toddlers. No nearby restrooms.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
