The food was great - they did forget a few items but when we reminded they instantly brought it out. Very friendly service. Saw a friend at the cafe! Very dog friendly. Sunny, nice atmosphere. Would recommend. Food was out within 10 mins of ordering- even the forgotten items!

We went here for breakfast on a Saturday and had a great experience. A lot of other places were very busy, but this café had a decent amount of space and was able to accept walk-ins without any wait, which was a huge plus. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. My husband is quite fussy with his morning coffee, and he said the barista (a gentleman with dark, curly hair) did a fantastic job. The freshly squeezed juice was also amazing- honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Another gentleman with a cool moustache (sorry we didn’t catch your names!) took our order and memorised everything without writing it down, and all the food came out perfectly, even with the little changes and additions we made. We ordered the Big Breakfast and the avocado dukkah-crusted eggs, which both tasted great. The added seeds and healthy garnish made it a really nice, balanced breakfast. We’d definitely come back.

We’ve been to a few of The Corner’s monthly Gourmet Nights now and every single one has been outstanding. The atmosphere feels special the moment you walk in, like you’re part of something the team has put their whole heart into. The food is always the star. Each course is beautifully presented and tastes incredible, with a menu that changes monthly so you never know exactly what’s coming but you know it’ll be good. It’s clear everything is made fresh and with care. What really makes the night, though, is the service. The staff are warm, welcoming and genuinely excited to share the experience with you. You don’t feel like just another booking; it feels personal, like dining with friends who also happen to be brilliant at running a restaurant. If you’re looking for a memorable night out in Port Macquarie, Gourmet Night at The Corner is the one. We always leave feeling full, happy and already planning for the next one.
