Dog rules

Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "When exercising in a public place, keep your dog on a lead and under the control of a competent person." "This means when you are outside your home, including on the footpath, your dog must be on a lead — except in designated dog off-leash exercise areas." The booklet also notes that under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs are prohibited from schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas. This park is not on Central Coast Council's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies. (Source: Central Coast Council — "Guide to being PAWSOME!" Koala park is an ideal place to have a picnic. There is plenty of grassy areas to sit and enjoy the trees. There is a course for frisbee golf, which is just as frustrating as the one with the little white ball. The park does not normally get very busy. But...I have seen it packed a few times. Mainly with larger families using it for functions. It is the venue for the GOATS festival, this normally has live bands, market stall and other attractions. There are facilities at the park for a canteen. A word of warning regarding parking, the grass verge does get slippery in the wet and I have seen people become bogged. There is also one area that has a deep drain, and people have been known to accidentally drop into the drain. See pics

Great place 👌 all you need is your own disc golf set. The course is already set out for you. There's also a tennis court that's open day and night 🌙
