The Village Emporium is a cafe in Wamberal where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
I’ve never written a bad review on a cafe & it pains me to do this to a small business but to pay $17 for 2 supermarket crumpets with a dollop of strawberry yogurt on top is just wrong. The bill for 2 X crumpets, 1 X scrambled eggs. No toast. 1 X B&E roll. 2 X coffee & an apple juice was $84.70 and it was honestly worse than a cheap hotel continental breakfast. Terrible.
Waited 50 minutes for a toasted sandwich that was for my son who kept asking where it was . Cafe was very quiet so shouldn't have taken so long. I kindly Asked waitress where it was, She didn't say anything. Brought it out after after 50 mins with no apology, she was rude when bringing it out.
What a sweet little spot. Totally recommend if you want to dine out for a yummy breaky or brunch. So convenient xxx all the staff were so friendly and accommodating which is everything to me. Big shout out to the lovely Taisha who couldn’t do enough to make my experience there as lovely as it was. Michaela, and Sienna were amazing as well. Thank You beautiful people xxx I’ll be back 🤍💞🤍
I was sad to see the Village Emporium closed on New Year's Day but relieved to see it open on the 2nd. Always a fan of any cafe that does jumbo-sized coffees, and not expensive. Their coffees are not bitter yet good wake-up; my favourite kind of morning coffee!
Came in for a takeaway coffee & a toasted sandwich. Coffee beautiful. Service great. Atmosphere more than fine for the location. However I asked for a “ham and cheese” toastie & and ended up getting a chicken, cheese & spinach one instead. The spinach tasted horrible & old. Not what I ordered.. was very disappointed. ☹️ This is partially why I don’t visit cafes much anymore because I’m constantly let down by an underwhelming outcome on something I’ve spent money on. Idk if I’ll be back again.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
