We enjoyed our walk on Friday, but later found each family member had ticks so please remember to take precautions or check! This isn't an area specific issue but it is very damp here so potentially more prone to them.

The area itself is gorgeous, but the directions are awful and it took so long to find it that we were wiped when we got there. Also the warning sign for the hooded plover on the way to racetrack beach makes it seem that walking anywhere other than the main beach was forbidden.

A significant and special experience. Always Was. Always Will Be.

Beautiful and peaceful. The walking track has some great facts about indigenous life here from an earlier time. Great beaches at either end too.

Great for a quick walk at Bawley and some phenomenal beaches at the shore.
