Restaurant vibe has a nice outlook over the deck. Food was tasty. We had the kingfish, flatbread, wagyu and potato bake which was the most fun dish I’ve eaten in a long time. Service was fast and when I asked if the fan could be turned down, it was done without hesitation.

Had booked dinner for our final night on holidays for my family. A 6pm booking on a Tuesday evening. On arrival I was told that I only booked for 2 instead of 4, and that they couldn’t honour my booking. The man didn’t try to fit us in, was very abrupt and pretty much dismissed us and moved onto doing something else. Now, I understand this was my error, but having visited many great restaurants in my time I have never been treated so poorly and basically told to leave. Chefs hat or not, the service was appalling. Shocked we left and happened to stop past Nomah on our way to the car. What a wonderful group of people they have working for them… they straight away sat us and looked after our every need. The food was amazing and they even altered a few dishes so our two children could enjoy the meal. Maybe it was meant to be… but we definitely won’t be attempting to visit The Milton Hotel on our next holiday. Nomah was exceptional!!

The food was fantastic and worth the drive to Milton! The restaurant services was ok with a good selection of protein on the menu. The wood fired meals were cooked perfectly with a balance of charcoal and tenderness in the wayu, lamb and fish! The vegetarian selection is limited but the taste of the vegetables from the fire oven are beyond compare! Very very flavoursome ! A excellent selection of beers and wines that match perfectly with the meals The atmospheres reflected the mood of the day, appropriate and welcoming !

An interesting menu with all their big plates being cooked in the woodfire oven! We had their woodfired fish (yellowfin tuna on the day we went) and loved the flavours. Their woodfired bread was also generous, perfect for sharing for the table. Their bbq cabbage was also a standout. Overall enjoyed our meal here!

This is the best pub meal I’ve had. We had our wedding reception here and everyone loved it. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. The food is out of this world, the pork is amazing, and the cabbage (yep, you read that right) is incredible. Dangerous ales make fantastic beers on site and here is a wonderful small playground for the kiddies which is also a bit out of the way. Milton is a great town, and the Milton hotel is absolutely the heart of it
