Mollymook Beach Hut Cafe

It is located on the corner, adjacent to the road and overlooking the beach. Parking is not too difficult with lots of spots around the area. Seating available both semi-inside and outside. Staff are friendly and food is good as well.

Such a great place to eat near the beach, with generous portions and very reasonable prices. Everything coming out to nearby tables looked so good that I had to ask. They recommended the steak sandwich on sliced bread, which was a great choice. My hubby ordered the calamari for $25, and it came with salad, homemade coleslaw, and a slice of pineapple. It was really yummy. We also added wedges and a banana shake, but honestly, even without those we would’ve been completely full. The outdoor seating with umbrellas is excellent, and the staff were lovely. They cleaned our table straight away when we arrived.

Absolutely 5 star fish and chips!! We had the hoki, prawn cutlets and chips. The fish was juicy and tender with a very light and tasty batter. The salad was fresh and made up on the spot. The prawn cutlets were extremely tasty and the prices were very fair for such a prime location. The staff were helpful, efficient and friendly. It was nice to see teenagers getting an opportunity and doing a great job. And the location is top notch - with a view of Mollymook beach, nice grassy areas and the esplanade. A real gem - we will definitely be back!

Stopped in for quick bite after long walk along headland to Bannister’s Point. Pleasant outlook with standard coastal cafe fare. Enjoyed chips and freshly squeezed juice packed full of antioxidants!

What’s so special about this Beach Hut Cafe? Well it’s hard to beat drinking your favourite coffee with a great view of the ocean! Situated just beside the beach, it has an amazing view of the sea - will definitely come back to try their food next trip. Coffee latte is good.
