Perfect sitting out the front looking down at the water. The food came fast and was yummy, though a little on the expensive side. We loved that we could sit out the front with our dog! It looked like a lot of the locals came down as well, always a good sign.

Excellent service by staff and delicious food where it was clear that fresh ingredients were used and thought was put into how they all came together. We visited around late lunch time and were served promptly, and when we were ordering one of the staff (Mel?) took the initiative to ensure that a kids menu was available for us to review for our toddler. We had the Teriyaki poke bowl, Mango Tango salad, Apple, carrot, and ginger juice, Fin and fries, Blat Me Up (the highlight!) and the kids nugget and chips. Would return without hesitation.

Best food at Mollymook beach the BLAT was one of the best I'd had in a long while. The teriyaki chicken salad was really delicious as well, as was just about everything here. Highly recommended.

Busy day, but still got a couple of seats and served quickly. We shared a BLT that was big enough for the two of us easy. Great coffee too.

It was a gorgeous morning in Mollymook - perfect for looking at the view and sipping on a coffee. The crowds, noise and mayhem at the Beach Hut Cafe on the beach drove me to walk up the street to the only other cafe in this part of Mollymook, Breakers Cafe. Located on the ground floor of an apartment building, I spotted the A frame sign outside boasting of Fish River Roasters coffee. I know this brand well. They produce fabulous coffee beans in Bathurst. Few cafes understand that cakes and cookies are not the only option for a snack with a coffee. I did not want lunch yet, just a coffee and snack which was not a cake loaded with cream. It was not be. I could not find anything savoury so I accepted my limited choice and ordered a cake from the display cabinet. It would have helped if the pleasant young woman at the counter could tell me what was the cake I pointed to. The sun was a bit hot, so I chose to sit inside. The outside tables face the road and are not particularly pleasant. It was a little stuffy inside however I persevered. A short time later, I received my macchiato and small cake (with lots of cream). My test of cafe’s coffee cred is always a macchiato. Have a look at the pic. The barista at least knew what how a macchiato looks. The deep flavour of the Fish River Roasters beans was very satisfying. The three layers of the macchiato were fine. It was satisfying. I enjoyed it. The cake? Average. This cafe has a market. It is clearly family friendly and a short walk from the beach. The menu appeared much like many other cafe. I would go back for a quick coffee if they stay with Fish River.
