Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas.
This is sensational place to come and walk and appreciate nature. Amazing reserve with terrific coastal heathland and immense bird life. A real treat and in the middle don’t the miss the Xmas tree 🎄 alley- or at least that’s what we called it. Also can take dogs on leash which was lovely.
Beautiful walk, great lookouts, make sure you take your phone, so many tracks it easy to get lost,
There are multiple short walks across the headland and to ocean viewing platforms Rennies, Pocket, the ‘Bommie’ and Racecourse beaches offer great surfing and long swims outside the breakers on o slight sea I was followed down the beach by a pod of dolphins that came within 2 metres of me as I traversed them beaches
Trails and bush a bit beaten up due to high usage in some areas, and due to culling the ubiquitous sweet pitosporum, but great sea views and crashing surf. Didn't see whales this time but they'll definitely come past here.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
