Griffith Park is a Collaroy park with a designated off-leash area west of the sportsfield and south of the tennis courts. The off-leash section is unfenced and sits next to a main road, so it suits dogs that stay close and respond well. There is open grass for a walk, with toilets and parking on hand. A handy local off-leash spot for steady dogs.

Dog rules

Got abused by entitled dog owners for taking "their spot" very disappointed. Apparently this park is for "dogs only". Also heaps of poo. Dog owners do not clean up after their dogs. Northern beaches council do something please ban dogs from this park

Large unfenced off leash dog park and children's playground close to Long Reef. Good walking circuit up Long Reef and back through the dog park via the golf club and surf club. Stunning views. Very popular with good parking (Northern Beaches permit) very busy at peak times. Dog park is ok to walk through even if you don't have a dog. Walking path upgraded for accessibility.

Amazing place to take the dog and go for a walk. Includes a walk around the golf course with fantastic views over the course and the headlands. Can get a bit busy on weekends but most people are courteous and friendly with well behaved / trained dogs. Have never had a problem here. Would definitely recommend.

Got trolled by some animal that had dogs but acted like a cat lady. She was very upset with us. Wasn't happy us playing cricket in a pbilic park. Probably didn't like our form but it wasn't necessary to act like a child over a few fours. I also didnt like the kitez.

Great walking track to Long Reef Point. And finish the loop to Pittwater Rd to the Upper Crust Legendary pie 🥧 shop. A must do. Walk then eat.
