I have been here a few times and it is a lovely place to sit and have a drink. However I was there on New Year’s Day (Thursday) and none of the usual specials were available (specials on drinks) and then they had the additional public holiday surcharge that simply made it to unaffordable to drink there. I was also there on a 42 degree day and inside it was 34 degrees, only a few fans in front of the window (with the sun coming in) and no functional air conditioner in the rest of the place. Multiple people complained but we were told they would speak to the manager and that the aircon was broken. Would recommend this place Mon-Thurs (and there is a Sunday deal). But avoid on public holidays and in the heat of summer

Great New Years Day lunch. We booked a table and it was perfectly located by the window so we had a great view of the water. The place was packed but a great atmosphere with everyone enjoying their day with family and friends over a good meal. Large menu, something for everyone. Starting off with oyster kilpatrick, we then both opted for the fish & chips which was piping hot and so fresh. Later we had coffee and cake. There are so many cakes to choose from, we opted for the berry marshmallow cake, and I ordered the salted caramel ricotta cheesecake which had a toffee puff - both served with cream. Such a great venue, good food and great staff. It was the perfect way to kick off 2026!!

We enjoyed lunch outside yesterday it was 20 max in Sydney on boxing Day, they had the outdoor heaters on with such a beautiful view we couldn't not sit outside. We had the seafood platter for two everything was so fresh and the staff were very helpful. We had a big table and I loved that we could order individually so there was no need to split the bill

Besides the fact that it fairly reeks of the class divide currently bedeviling the world with the clientele by-and-large looking like extras in the intro scene to a telling of the second French Revolution, the place was nice, the scenery was to die for, the service was in noteworthy, and the food was good. If you want a good meal and a good view, highly recommend. If you want to be reminded why you should be angry about capital gains tax, negative gearing, and the handouts going to the least needy, also, highly recommend.

Amazing bar&restaurant. Good view of the water. The food is priced reasonably and although it is busy during lunch and dinner time, the service is fast. There is an outdoor table under a tree with 15-20 chairs, so big groups can also enjoy the view while having their meal. We visit this place regularly and always enjoyed it.
