The Deck Cafe

Mum and I had breakfast this morning, I found the lady taking the orders to be rude, not someone I would hire for the front of my business, the food was good, although options was limited, the customer service was so poor I would not recommend anyone going there if she continues to work there, I have sound sensitivity, I’m wearing ear plugs, music was extremely loud, her facial expression did not make me feel comfortable when I had just witnessed her be lovely to locals before me, you either judged me for not hearing her or is just this rude to people who visit the cafe from out of town. I love Whale beach which is why I brought my Mum to have breakfast there this morning, first time at the Deck Cafe and would not return. Improve your service, you are in the customer service, hospitality business! You represent a business and you did that poorly today.

Very disappointed having to wait 1 hr for the most dreadful coffee I have ever had! Attention to detail and customer service was non existent. Would not recommend

Honestly so terrible. The guy serving was so grumpy and had a terrible attitude, even though it's right next to a beautiful beach! Served "gelato" which was sad and deflated and extremely small in portion size, oddly reflective of his personality.
