Café Relish

Sat 24 Aug 2025 very poor show today. BAD VALUE ! Avocado mash on sourdough ( no eggs (2) thanks) only one slice and half a slice with a table spoon of avo on each such a small miserly serve $20 ( I was charged for the 2 eggs) penny pinching measures so disappointing. My friend had the avo mash toast AND the 2 eggs and she had a teaspoon of mash on each of the toast. I pleasantly made my displeasure known and was given a free coffee. I am a local, eaten here many times before - may be a new chef no management in charge all young kids working there but a mature age chef I noticed. BEWARE THIS DISH super disappointing in size and quality cheaper to order toast with a side of avo maybe ??

Excellent quality food, fast service, generous portions and reasonably priced. What’s not to love.

Little hidden but open early, so good for us sunrise shooters. I ordered poached eggs but received scrambled instead. They were OK. The bread was cut thinly, which I didn't mind. The lid didn't sit properly on the teapot, so tea spilled everywhere. Apart from that, not bad.

Staff service was good. I tried their chocolate shake and it was good. Their juice machine wasn’t working and that was not good thing because i already paid the amount for fresh juice and was craving for it but soon staff told that machine wasn’t working. Overall food experience was good.

Relish recently provided platters for a working meeting we had. The service was very efficient, the food was amazing and it was great value for money. Special thanks to Phil for coordinating the menu, it was very much appreciated. Apologies the photographer wasn't able to capture the photo fast enough from prying hands.
