Riley Park is a simple grassed off-leash area in Unanderra with bag stations on hand. The off-leash zone is unfenced and sits close to a busy road, so it suits dogs with reliable recall that stay close. It is a basic, open space rather than a destination park — handy for a quick local run for dogs that are steady off-leash. A modest neighbourhood spot.
Off-leash dog park (unfenced). Dogs must be under effective control of a person aged 16+ who can control the dog by voice or other means. Dogs must not attack wildlife including birds. Owners must carry bags and clean up after their dogs. Restricted breed and declared dangerous dogs are not allowed. Dogs must stay on a leash travelling to and from the park. As a smaller dog owner (Cavoodle) it's sadly not much use. The park is surrounded by a busy road without fencing which is a worry in itself. I am unable to release my dog freely at the park as if a larger dog came to use it, and they were to chase my smaller dog its either getting attacked or running onto the road to get away.
Big area for the dogs to run around off leash, council bin & doggy poo bags provided which is a big bonus!
Just a basic grass area. Some how people drive through from park. I released my dog but l was little panic about car passes inside the park
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
