Corrimal Beach is a peaceful and relatively quiet stretch of sand located just north of Wollongong. It’s especially convenient if you’re staying at Corrimal Beach Tourist Park, as the beach is right next door with direct access. The beach is wide and open, perfect for a morning or evening walk, jogging, or simply enjoying the sound of the waves. Compared to more crowded Wollongong beaches, Corrimal Beach has a calmer and more relaxed atmosphere, making it great for unwinding.
Pretty nice place to go for a swim. There are two rock pools, one very deep and one shallower. The waves kept on crashing on the wall. Thus, the bigger pool was getting constantly filled. There was also a park and a playground and a carpark, though it was full up. There are also tennis courts and a club. Pretty good place to spend a day!
Beautiful beach, waves strong..... patrolled with life savers beach. Rock pool available with shower head. During our visit bit cooler not many swimmers.
