Decided to give folk Byron Bay a try on Sunday as it kept popping up on my socials and looked sensational. Online arrived to find there is no car park or parking. It’s right next door to the caravan park so parking is a nightmare at a hazard has the car park king that is available is a shared zone with the entry to the caravan park so it is a hazard on street parking on the main road is mostly zoned no standing so if you do park there you’ll get a fine. We spent $91 on what you see in the pictures. Order at counter pay at counter atmosphere. It was very average and spoke to staff about the 15% surcharge that we were to pay for and was told that it goes to the employees. No looking forward to the law changing when they’re not able to charge you 15% for nothing on top of what you’re already paying for overpriced and average food. These meals could’ve been made at home for cost of around $20 As after all we were only ordering simple eggs and avo smash one cappuccino and one Chai latte $91.00, sorry not sorry I am honest when I do a review on somewhere that I am paying good money to eat at We will not be back !

This place is all over Instagram, so I went and honestly, the food is a 10/10. I had the avocado toast with an incredible bread that tasted homemade, soft and fluffy, like sourdough. All the food was full of flavor and made on-site. The coffee was excellent. They had boxed oat milk, and they make their own almond milk in-house, though I didn’t try it. The space is very open and designed for outdoor seating, but the day I went it was quite windy and cold, and I didn’t see any heaters maybe that’s something they could improve.

Amazing spot nestled next to the caravan park entrance, rare to get a cafe this good in a holiday park like this. Great coffee and food options, friendly staff and amazing outdoor areas to chill in. Good for kids and families as well as individuals. Definitely recommend this place.

If you like organic, whole food style cooking, you’ll love this cafe. You can really taste the local ingredients and that a lot of items are house made. For my taste palette, this was the best meal I’ve eaten at a cafe. Very well priced considering lot of the items are house made and organic. Definitely a ‘go to’ in Byron and ticks the Byron Bay experience.

A Must-Visit in Byron Bay! 🌿✨ Folk in Byron Bay is an absolute gem! I ordered the vegan burrito, scrambled eggs, and a vegan blueberry loaf - and every single dish was incredibly delicious. The flavours were fresh, well-balanced, and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The vegan options were especially impressive! What truly makes Folk special is the atmosphere. It has such a unique, calm, and cozy vibe - the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed and inspired. With its beautiful outdoor setting and laid-back energy, it perfectly captures the spirit of Byron Bay. Amazing food + unforgettable atmosphere = 5/5 stars without a doubt. I can’t wait to go back! 🌸
