Lambton Park
Lambton Park offers a fenced off-leash area with separate sections, along with shade, seating, and water access. It's a straightforward, functional park suited to everyday use rather than longer destination visits.
Dog rules
Dogs must be on a leash at all times in public places unless in a designated leash-free area. Dogs are not permitted on the Memorial Walk or within 10 metres of a playground. What people say
Christmas Carols 2022 hosted by Hunter Bible Church. Despite the rain, the park itself served as a great venue with plenty of grassed area for people, food vans, rides for the kids and teenagers and amenities. There’s plenty of parking around the perimeter and side streets and close to shops. I’ve visited at other times and it’s very popular with young families and I s dog friendly.
Lambton Park is so lovely! There's a wide path that goes all the way around it - perfect for walking the dog or courteously riding a bike. There's a play area for the little ones, BBQ facilities, and open spaces to kick a ball around. There's also the historical rotunda that was built in the late 1800's, and am array of sweet smelling roses and gardens that surround the tiny library up near Elder Street. If you're looking for a lovely day out, this park is perfect. Not too mention the array of little shops on Elder Street to grab a coffee, do your weekly shop and support the locals!
Beautiful park to spend time in and for a walk. Grab a coffee at the many cafes nearby and take a walk.
Zaell and the team were absolutely incredible in helping us with our Christmas Party! The function room was perfectly air-conditioned on a 40-degree day, making it super comfortable. It was private and quiet (apart from us laughing during the Art Class we organised as part of the event!). As always, the pub’s food was delicious, and having the drinks on a bar tab made payment easy and stress-free. Thanks so much, Zaell – you made the day fantastic!
Snitty Night at Lambton Park was delicious, filling and great value at $20. The portion size was generous and the Diane sauce just topped it off. The atmosphere at Lambton Park was lively with lots of full tables in the dining area but you can sit anywhere within the hotel to eat and they were. There was a bit of a wait on our mains as it was very busy, but we were told this when we ordered. No problems for our table of 9 as we had ordered some entrees which came out within a reasonable time.
