First time interstate visitor to the park for Pride Fair. A great park with a popular playground close to the restaurants nearby. Lots of shade and would be a great place to lay down a rug and have your own picnic. Good toilet facilities and under normal circumstances would have plenty of parking surrounding the park.

Shaded sandpit but BYO shovel and sand toys. This park has a climbing structure that’s nice and tall. The play area is wheelchair accessible as it’s all on one level. There’s a washroom and shaded area with benches and tables. Swings, monkey bars, trampolines, slides and a seesaw are some of the other attractions. Large and spacious play area.

The day was sunny and nice in winter and it was good to take a walk in the park and see family enjoying in the nice weather. I had my mobile phone and took 2 pictures of white flowers as they were beautiful to see. It was nice to be in the park and enjoy the view of the trees and flowers.

Lovely local park. Very old with lots of green space for a picnic or children to play. We were there for the Anzac Dawn Service this time. It's always well coordinated and respectful and easier to get to than the main Newcastle service at Nobbys.

A lovely park with traditional garden's, some big trees and a new interactive playground with a marble run carved into some big stone squares and fun sand and water play area. It's not a huge park but big enough to walk around a few times for fitness.
