Our experience at this restaurant was great. The waitress took our order and came out with the food as expected. They also took no issue when we requested the kids meal eggs to be cooked a little more. All the food ordered came out pretty fast and tasted as great as they looked. The cooks/chefs are rallying doing a great job here! The 20% public holiday surcharge is a bit rough and the highest I have seen but it’s totally understandable given the hectic rush of out of towners like us coming into the Forster/Tuncurry area for a visit. The location is also great with water views across a nice lawn area. There are also picnic style tables out at the front which I assume to be mainly catering for the dog owners which is a nice to accomodate all the locals walking by with their dogs.

We stayed in forster for a week and this was our go to for brunch. Beautiful spot on the water with stunning views of the lake and the bridge. Located on the tuncurry side, right next to the fish co op, with free street parking. There is no table service here, you order at the bar and your food will be bought out to you. We meet Dean who owns the Cafe with his wife. Dean is an amazing host and will happily answer any questions you might have about the area, weather it be about the best fishing spots and the best baits to use or any general questions you might have about the area. The food is amazing, there was nothing we ordered that we didn't love and would have again. The Coffee was fabulous and their fresh juices were amazing. They also serve hard alcohol here, with a couple of beers on tap and if the mood should strike you, a breakfast cocktail. They do an all day breakfast ,which really suited our schedule. Indoor seating, covered outdoor deck seating and outdoor seating with shade umbrellas There are toilets here as well I highly recommend this spot.

This cafe is a regular for my mum and dad. Today mum and I shared a beautiful breakfast of avocado and poached egg on toast. With the winter sun on our back and stunning view, it was the perfect start to the day. We even had a little visitor who was very friendly and didn’t laugh at us!!!! A friendly family owned and run business.
