The Diner Lennox

I don’t remember the last time I’ve had an experience like this, the diner is the best Italian restaurant I’ve tried in Lennox head, Byron Bay, Ballina and beyond. The Focaccia was insanely good. I’ve never had freshly made whipped ricotta before and it blew my mind. The Casoncelli was the perfect pasta for me and the wine recommendations were spot on. This modest restaurant in the heart of Lennox head is a must and I’m sure will become a staple in my eating out routine.

The food was great but what really made our visit was the superb service from Bryce and Micayla. We had the banquet for 4. The portions were generous but the respect the chef offered the local produce accentuated our culinary experience. Would highly recommend.

What a top place to have some amazing food!!! We choose The Diner for our dinner with some friends and we couldn't have chosen better. The food here, is top level!! Every single dish was just amazing, I loved they use local products to create and enhance the flavor of their dishes. The service was great as the food, very friendly and welcoming. Very nice wine list, music, and atmosphere. I think prices are in line with the quality and the experience you get. You can't miss the focaccia with whipped Ricotta, is so YUM!! Highly recommended!!! Portions sizes were a little small but the pasta was so good. Flavours on point, seafood was fresh and the spaghetti was unique in a good way. Very cute Cafe in Lennox Head.
