wildbean cafe is a cafe in West Ballina. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 350m away, Waverley Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.

My order - small hot chocolate extra hot. Sounds pretty simple. First visit the drink was so cold I took it back at which time you microwaved it. At least it was hot enough to drink. Second visit today - same order. Same luke warm drink. Why is it so hard? In Australia, hot drinks standard temp is 60 to 65 deg C. Extra hot anywhere from 70 to 82 degrees C. My drink was 40 deg C. Yes I measured the temperature. Drink was poured down a drain. If you are in the coffee business at the very least know and train your staff how to correctly make hot drinks. It requires patience from YOU and your customers. Repeat business requires you to get it right. It also doesn't affect just your business. We have crossed this entire service centre off our stop list now.

I've been coming to this Cafe as my halfway stop on my regular road trips for years, and every time without fail, no matter how crazy busy it is, the staff greet me with kind eyes and a big smile on their face. I notice that this wildbean in particular seems to celebrate their staffs individuality --- I obviously don't know what it's like behind the scenes but as a customer I can feel the staff members shine in their uniqueness and I feel a sense of support between them. All of the above impacts the overall atmosphere of the BP and the cafe and I really appreciate them

Terrible experience. The filling of the Ham and Cheese toasted Sandwich was non - existent. The jam filled donut was inedible. Thrown out after one bite.. hard as a rock and the jam was not Jam. I'm never normally recommend McDonalds, but McDonald's would be a safer option with friendlier staff

Simply woeful. There were 6 people behind the coffee machine after my order was taken. None made eye contact or said anything about a delay as they took 15 minutes to make a single cappuccino, clearly struggling with using the machine. I was the only person waiting. The final product, delivered without pleasantness or apology, was undrinkable. Not acceptable for what should be a quick pit stop on a long road trip. Save your time and money and go to the McDonalds drive through instead.

Delicious and strong flavoured coffee which is what you need on a long drive. Option to bring your own cup as well. Friendly, fast efficient service.
